Winter's low temperatures cause significant changes in many systems, particularly in industrial metal circular saw machines. When operating metal circular saw machines in cold environments, special attention should be paid to hydraulic oil and other lubricants. Excessive cold temperatures can lead to oil solidification or reduced fluidity, increasing the likelihood of equipment malfunctions. So how should we maintain these machines in low temperatures?

1.Warm-up Before starting the metal circular saw machine, first check the oil condition. If the oil remains liquid, the equipment should run idle for 3-5 minutes after startup (forcefully activate cutting oil and lubricating oil to ensure proper operation after spraying). This not only resolves potential issues but also achieves a "preheating" effect for the oil. Idle operation serves as the most direct inspection method for the equipment. Maintain this practice whether in cold or normal temperatures!

2.Protective wrapping In extremely cold conditions, you can wrap the metal circular saw machine with materials like foam or cotton cloth to control oil temperature. Note that this applies only to pre-start procedures. Remove all protective wrapping after startup.

3.Oil thawing If the oil is found to be frozen solid, do not start the machine immediately. Instead, heat the oil first. The simplest method is to use hot water to thaw it (or apply heating pads). Once the oil is fully thawed, restart the equipment and run it for a few minutes to observe oil flow and equipment stability.

All three maintenance methods for metal circular saw machines are highly effective. Contrary to common belief, temperature significantly impacts these machines, causing changes in multiple mechanical components that demand our utmost attention.
